O professor tem um papel muito importante na sala de aula sendo ele o transmissor do conhecimento na classe, e assim sendo, é necessário que o mesmo busque constantes melhorias para seus métodos de ensino.
Por isto na internet os professores têm a disponibilidade de vários sites do qual se pode encontrar desde uma duvida de algum material até atividades previamente elaboradas.
Como o Eleaston, do qual é um site onde podem ser encontradas diversas atividades, relacionadas com a utilização do vocabulário e da gramática, dicas para professores como métodos a ser aplicados em sala de aula e também há a disponibilidade de auxilio online tanto para o professor quanto para o aluno, sendo que ele é voltado além do inglês também para o ensino de outras línguas como chinês, francês, alemão, entre outras.
Assim sendo o professor moderno tem a disponibilidade maior de recursos didáticos para aplicação em sala de aula.

BBC Learning "and Teaching" English


BBC Learning English is a Web site produced by the BBC World Service aimed to the teachers and students of English. The station began broadcasting programs in English language teaching in 1945 still under the name "English By Radio" with programs for adults and children of all levels of learning.
Now a days, the site offers materials such as: Quizzes that bring interesting games to the student's vocabulary acquisition; The Flatmates with funny videos; Community, where you can join the program with bloggers from around the world; Grammar, Vocabulary & Pronunciation with video resources which contains explanations about phonetics, audio conversations with diverse topics and texts with grammatical rules; For Teachers which offer videos, activity ideas and even lesson plans, everything to make teaching and learning of the language more attractive.
Such resources can be used by students who want to keep updated on the language and improve their skills. Teachers can also be successful, enjoying the tips about activities and using the materials in their classes making them more dynamic.

‘Connect with English’? SIM!!!


‘Connect with English’ is an educational dramatized series produced by Annenberg/CPB Project  and WGGH Boston for English students from Intermediate to Advanced level, which have famous around the world.
The course is composed in 48 episodes where you can follow the Rebecca’s story that decides leave everything behind (family, boyfriend, friends, job) and go across the United States to make her greatest dream come true: to sing.
Something fabulous in this course is that you feel yourself tripping at her side, knowing North American culture and places. In the final of each episode, a teacher reviews about the happenings, using English and Portuguese language, to do that, and by this way, teaching grammar and vocabulary (like slang) what is very interesting for the student. It’s integrates powerful storyline, natural language, and innovative teaching methods.
If you want to improve your English skills don’t miss ‘Connect with English’, that is being presented on TVE, all Mondays and Thursdays, at 7:00 A.M., and reprises on Saturdays at 06:00 A.M.
